Michael Harpster started with New Line during its earliest stages and built the company up, over more than a decade, to be taken public and then sold to Turner Broadcasting. He was New Line’s President of Marketing for 18 years, planning and executing theatrical campaigns for over 150 films that grossed, in total, over $500 million which included major franchises such as NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES and the groundbreaking HOUSE PARTY which created the urban genre.  After leaving New Line in 1999, he demonstrated the vitality of the Christian market by releasing the number one indie film of that year, THE OMEGA CODE. In 2005, he began working on the Latin market and became CEO of MAYA Releasing in 2007 releasing many films.
